With millions of licensed drivers on the road in the U.S., it’s critically important that everyone drives safely. One-way commuting times have increased every year, reaching 27.6 minutes in 2019, partly because more people are driving extreme distances. As of 2019, 9.8% of workers indicated they drove more than an hour one way daily.
