About Dr. Grace C. Graham

Dr. Grace Chew-Graham received her education at the University of Texas at Austin, Dallas Theological Seminary, and George Fox University. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a busy private practice. She is also an experienced expert witness. She had been in private practice since 1992.


Dr. Graham is married with four grown stepchildren, one grown adopted daughter and two biological children still living at home. She is a practicing Christian who is compassionate, practical and understanding. She is well aware of blended family issues, adoption issues and parenting issues for special needs children and their families. In addition to being effective in communicating and teaching,Dr. Graham is also genuine and nurturing in caring for others. She considered herself a blessed soul because her husband trusts her, her children respect her and her friends love her.

Monica Marterella,  M.S., LMFT-A, LPC-I, graduated from Texas A&M University in 1992 and received her Masters in Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University in 2006. Monica is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, and has worked at Charis Counseling since 2007.

As a therapist and a Christian, she has the desire to create a safe space for her clients; a warm, open, environment where they can come and feel free to talk and be challenged without fear of judgment. Monica is experienced in working with families, couples, adults, adolescents, and children. Some specific areas of focus Monica is familiar with are anxiety, depression, grief, medical/physical issues, and relationship concerns. Monica has been married for 15 years and has one son.
